WhatsApp now sends some chats under an internal account id instead of a phone number. Type the number once and this person files themselves from then on — the account id is remembered for good.

Sending limits

How slowly messages go out. Sending fast, or to people who never wrote first, is what gets a number banned — not the total. A gap of one to three minutes is a proven safe pace.

Staff with a phone mark themselves by sending one word — P, HD, A or leave. For labour and housekeeping who have no phone, the numbers below can send the whole day in at once. Only these numbers are trusted, so keep the list short.

all P marks everyone present, then each named line corrects one person. Leave out all P to mark only the people you name. Put yesterday or 24/07 on its own line to fill an earlier day. An employee code works in place of a name. You get a summary back saying exactly what was recorded.

Upload the recruitment sheet exported as CSV. Column names are matched automatically. Group heading rows such as “APPOINTED” are skipped.

Update rows that are already here, matched on the id column. Leave this off unless the file came from Download CSV above — a sheet whose first column is a row number has ids that mean nothing here. A row is only ever updated when the phone number or the name also matches, so it can never replace one person with another; anything that does not match is reported and left alone.

Link the office phone by scanning a QR, the same way WhatsApp Web works. Messages then land in each candidate's comment log, and the E.Date / Y.Date columns move on their own. Appointed staff can mark attendance by replying with a single letter.

Backup & export

One zip with every table as CSV and JSON, plus all uploaded documents. Open it in Excel, or use it to move to another system.
